Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s The Division was played by a lot of gamers when it first came out, but as the game progressed it started to suffer issues, and complaints followed. While the game was one of the best-selling games of 2016, critics and players were divided over the games future and overall quality. The Division was not a bad game but there were many the felt underwhelmed, by the short storyline and bugs during its initial year out.
Ubisoft recently held a PC technical alpha test for the game’s upcoming sequel, The Division 2, and the games initial feedback is starting to come out. The technical alpha test took place from December 15-18 and offered a chosen few early game access to and provide feedback on overall mechanics, gameplay, and general Q&A. However, all participants signed a non-disclosure agreement some details are still in the dark.
Overall, the feedback for the Tom Clancy Division 2 Closed Beta is really positive and from the sounds of it, many of the issues that plagued the orginial division will not be carried over in this new iteration.
There is still skepticism through the gaming community since there were so many issues on the original launch. Some say Ubisoft lost a good chunk of it’s player base, but the consensus appears to be, once the gaming community starts to stream the game and promotions of the game start going live, we will see a resurgence to one of the most beautifully visual games released in 2016.
