LG has quietly rolled out some amazing phones the past few years with impressive hardware specs and smooth designs. LG G7 ThinQ was no different and was a phone that flew under the radar and still out performs many phones on the market today. January is set to upgrade this amazing phone yet again with Android Pie.
The software rollout begins January 1st, 2019. Anyone who owns the handset will get a notification of the OTA in the next week or so. LG G7 ThinQ users in South Korea already had Android Pie due to an open beta program, the rest of the world had to wait for the Korean manufacture to release it worldwide.
The information comes directly from LG. As for what this OS involves, naturally, it includes all the goodness of Android Pie including LG’s own flavor on the major OS update.
This upgrade also includes plenty of other changes including renewed ringtones, message apps being able to attach larger GIF files, and further bug fixes.
Stay tuned for more updates on the LG G7 ThinQ as we will be covering it as the software roles out. What are you thoughts on the phone?
